Dear Husband, I was thinking about the memorial your unit had for you. It was very nice and you would have been as proud as I was when they gave you the respect you deserve. I know that you would have loved all the coins that you got and I have them displayed in my house. You look so very handsome in the portrait they gave me. I remember when you took that picture and how I had to hide in the dressing room so I wouldn't make you smile. I miss your true smile...you know I know when it's genuine. I sent the other two portraits to family. I was also thinking about your memorial at Chisholm and all the people that decided to make the come during Covid time. I can't tell you how special that was. I am choosing to believe that you saw it and would have truly appreciate how your chain of command was there to show appreciation and to represent the unit. They all gave me a hug and their condolences. I will never ever forget being saluted after they gave me the American Flag. Husband, I really felt respected by your chain of command and by your unit. I have your casket flag display proudly in my home. I know you always wanted our country's flag displayed, so don't worry it is. I know that you are probably still having long conversations with mom, dad and your sister. And I am certain that you are being a great father to our child. I'm sure you have met both my grandparents, because they probably hunted you down. Please talk to them Husband, they are good listeners and be yourself because they will know when you are faking...just like I knew. Thank you for visiting me in my dreams and thank you for making sure I would be taken care of. I will continue to make sure our family's name is respected and I will never embarrass you or the Harrington name. I miss you Babe. Your Wife.
