Richard Cibulskis

With great sadness, the family of Richard Evalds Cibulskis has announced his passing at the age of 62. Richard passed away peacefully in hospice care at the University Hospital of Geneva in Collonge-Bellerive after a 2 year battle with cancer, and is survived by his wife Adore, his brother Peter, his sister Caroline, his brother-in-law Max, his sister-in-law Janet, his nieces Rebecca and Catherine, his nephew Alexander, and cousins from the UK, Ireland and the United States, and his son Christopher. Richard had an accomplished career through his work in Papua New Guinea, working with the National Health Department as well as the provincial Health Centers throughout the country. His career also includes his tireless work as a Coordinator in the Malaria Strategy Economics and Elimination in the World Health Organization. A steadfast Coventry FC fan and a passionate football player in his youth, in his later years while raising his son he took up an interest in skiing with his son in later years. He will be remembered as well for his kind, generous and easygoing character, always being a positive influence to others and being an overall great person to everyone he was around, his passing was a great loss to everyone he knew, and he will be missed dearly not only for his strength in character but for being a truly accomplished man.
