Rema was the best mother-in-law anyone could ask for! Rema welcomed me into the family with her big heart and smile. She shared all of Vic's favorite recipes that she cooked him..her famous gravy, lobster (cutting the 3 membranes), twice baked potatoes, and her famous pepperoni roll! Rema was filled with love and laughter, and it was contagious! We love you Rema and miss you! ❤️

So many things to say, but the most fundamental thing was when Aunt Re spoke your name, you knew it was spoken with genuine love, care and concern for you as a person. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. (1 Cor. 13:13). Miss you and love you Aunt Re. Stephanie and Mark.

Rema became a great friend of mine close to 20 yrs ago. I met her when she worked at Harrahs in Atlantic City. I played roulette and she would always try to get my number "12". We both were born in December. I visited her home in Ocean City numerous times and she would roll out the red carpet(extraordinary hospitality). When she retired and moved to Carolina, I visited her there, we kept in touch, sent cards and had phone conversations( mostly brief) she did not like to be on the phone long. I had the pleasure of having dinner with Drew, Michele,my daughter and granddaughter late this past July in Carolina. Rema was a remarkable person and more. One of my fondest memories was my 60th bday, 13 yrs ago. She came to Virginia to help me celebrate and insisted on contributing a dish,(meatballs). As you well know you cannot say no to Rema once her mind is made up. Little did I realize she measures each meatball individually to be sure they are the same weight and size. There were a lot of them, only Rema 🙂. I know she was getting tired, and God decided to take her home where she will have peaceful rest forever. It hurts my heart, but God knows what's best. I will never forget her kind and loving heart, Rema was a true one in a million person. I also will never forget the good care Drew and Michele gave her until God called her home. What a great job❤️ Rema will be in my heart forever🙏🏾❤️ Forever Friend, Roz Ramsey Newport News, Virginia

Aunt Rema was always full of love. Her " ah, hon" always made me feel seen and a big hug from her made everything ok. I loved seeing her boss my dad around "now, Rom," and usually it meant she was coming to our defense. I have wonderful memories of her support for us playing music, she always asked how we were doing in school and was genuinely interested in whatever new thing we were up to. Boy did she love to dance and have fun! She always showed up for the family; good times and hard ones too. She will be missed so very much. All our love, Therese
