Ray Garcia

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Dear Son, Beloved Father, and Brother Ray Garcia. Ray left this Earth suddenly on June 17th, 2024. He was born on February 13th, 1974 to Ray and Beatrice Garcia. He is preceeded in death by Paternal Grandparents Fred and Eloida Garcia, and Maternal Grandparents Faustin and Irene Gonzales. Uncles Pete Garcia and Dennis Quintana Sr., and cousin Dennis Quintana Jr. 

He leaves behind his parents Ray Garica and Beatrice Garcia. Two children Keith Garcia (spouse Mary and Grandaughter Annie), and Daughter RaeLynn Garcia. He also leaves behind his Sister Stephanie Chaves, (husband Matthew) nieces, Katalina Flores, Lilia Chaves and Maya Chaves. Ray also leaves behind several  Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and close friends. 

Ray was a member of IBEW Local 611, which later led him to work as Supervisor/Project Managers througout his career. Ray was an avid hunter, outdoorsman, and horseman. In his younger years, he particpated in the Highschool Rodeo as well as being an avid Team Roper with his own accolades.  Ray loved to travel, try new foods, as well as go camping. Some of Rays favorite pastimes were spending time with his children, nieces, and extedend family and friends. Ray will forever be missed, and we are greatful for the time we had you in our lives. You will forevever be in our hearts and memories. Your legacy will live on through Keith and RaeLynn. Rest in peace and rise in eternal glory.

Services are as follows: July 3, 2024, A Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. with Mass to follow at Cristo Rey Catholic Church located at 1107 Cristo Rey St. Santa Fe, NM 87501. A reception will follow shortly after. Burial will be held at a later date.
