Vanessa Sandoval
I am the daughter of Ramon Sandoval the youngest. My name is Vanessa Sandoval. My dad was the best dad ever. He was a hard worker, loved His faith in God and the church. Loved his family very much. Enjoyed his friends. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He came from Taos, New Mexico From Ranchito’s Met my mom. Both got married had four children. He provided for his family out of the Sandoval side. Provided for his brothers and sisters. Came from a family of eight. He worked really hard to provide for everyone. He was in the Taos National Guard and lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico with my mom. My dad owned the Gas station called the Shamrock gas station. He was a mechanic enjoyed full service gas station to the community Of Santa fe. Everyone knew him here in Santa Fe because of that gas station. Later on, he retired from the gas station and opened up a car wash off of West Alameda by Gonzales elementary. As he was on duty with the National Guard in Taos, he would work very hard. He will still transport back-and-forth with every day life. He decided to work for the state national Forest Here in Santa Fe. Then started working for the Santa Fe Police Department fingerprint specialist Manager. He retired from there. My dad still worked on friends and families vehicles throughout his retirement. He was a hard worker and cared for so many people to help. When he didn’t spend time working on cars. He would go to his property to fish hunt. Enjoy the moments of his hard labor and happiness. He really enjoyed Los Ojos NM in TA. He enjoyed stargazing the sky. He really enjoyed that time out there to just relax from every day life. That was his sanctuary. I’m grateful that he taught my sons to fish hunt live off the land. He really cared about my son Stephen Very much. He wanted him to be educated and go to college. He was a mentor to my son’s. He really wanted the best for his grandchildren. The memories with my dad were so great growing up. I miss my dad so so much. My dad was such a great man. I can’t express how much I care and love him so much. I miss him every day. I know he’s in paradise and he’s up there looking down on all of us. I can’t express how much I’m gonna miss my dad. I will never forget all the experience I’ve had. I love you, dad so much. There was always a special place in my heart for you. You were the first man I laid my eyes on when I was born. You’ve always protected me. I just miss you so much.
