Ramon Roberto Pacheco, 71, of Costilla passed away on June 26, 2014. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Anita Pacheco, parents, Octaviano and Edilia Pacheco, brothers, Floyd and Albert Pacheco and sister, Betty Pacheco. He is survived by his wife, Linda Pacheco, children, Mariquita Pacheco, Antonio Pacheco, Teresa Mandonado (Joe Ben), Ramon R. Pacheco II (Rhonda), Monica Hoy (BJ), Lorenzo Pacheco (Stephanie), Christina Pacheco, Ernesto Pacheco, 26 grandchildren, 1 one great-grandchild, brothers, Neal Pacheco (Betty) and Ernie Pacheco (Mary Ann), sister, Maria Sanchez, many other relatives and friends. Rosary was recited on July 1, 2014. Funeral mass was held on July 2, 2014. Both services were held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Costilla.

When I was a little kid my grandfather would do everything he could to always make people around him as happy as he could. When I found out he passed away I was hurt because he had taught me so much and I still had a lot more to learn. My grandfather was always there when I needed him and he is still there in my heart. I love you grandpa and the family misses you.

My condolences go out to the Pacheco family. Mr. Pacheco had a heart of gold. I truly enjoyed our conversations thru the years. No matter where he saw me, he would go out of his way to give me a big hug and ask for my family. Growing up, he would always tell us "As long as you respect your elders, you will go far in life." I will miss him and asking God to give strength to the family. The Pacheco family will always have a place in my heart.

My dear daddy it has been a while since I have been able to give u a hug and a good old hand shake u r my best friend till this day. I am still in denial all though I know I cannot just pick up the phone and call u I still dont want to believe ur gone. Because then that means I have lost my best friend I love u daddy

Sincere condolences to Mrs. Pacheco and the family on the passing of Mr. Pacheco. He was always respectful towards our family and we truly appreciated the times he would stop by to visit. Unfortunately we won't be able to attend his services but our prayers are with you. May He rest in peace.
