Priscilla "Pris" Lalama Roth

Our mother, Priscilla Roth, passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

Priscilla Lalama Roth was born May 24, 1938, in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Magaret (Puglielli) Lalama. Beloved wife of 52 years to the late Yale M Roth; loving mother to Marc Roth (Tammy) of Woodstock, GA and Nicole Tynen (Gerry) of Carlsbad CA; proud grandmother of Barrett Yale Roth (Sydney) of Marietta, GA and Margaret Jayne Gobbel (Trevor) of Woodstock, GA; and cherished sister of the late Louis Lalama (Lois) and Eleanor Colarossi (Tony).

Priscilla was a gifted musician, a dedicated educator, entrepreneur, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a talented baker of delicious Italian treats. It wasn't all that unusual, that even as adults with children of our own, we would occasionally receive a care package filled with amazing baked goodies. 

Year-round, Mom was generous to a fault, she spoiled all of us rotten. She loved us all unconditionally, and showed it through every gesture. She would send her grandchildren a new snowsuit every winter - just in case it snowed in Georgia. She would send a pick-me-up card that arrived at just the right time, or call because she “just felt that something was off”. Mom was there for us, always.

Mom was all that plus so much more and she will be missed. It was an honor to be her family. We love you, Mom.

On Thursday, November 14, a Celebration of Life will be held at California Funeral Alternatives 1020 East Pennsylvania Avenue, Escondido, CA 92025, from 4pm to 8pm
