In Loving Memory of Pranay
Dear friends and family
Thank you for visiting the space we've created in loving memory of Pranay. While nothing can fill the void his absence leaves behind, this online memorial is a small way for us to gather — across time and distance — and hold onto the love, laughter, and light he brought into our lives.
Here, we invite you to share your stories, memories, photos, or even a few lines that remind you of Pranay. Whether it's something funny, kind, or deeply meaningful — your words will help us build a living tribute, something that keeps growing with time and connection.

A Birthday Without You 22nd October — a date forever etched in our hearts. How do we face this day without you? You were our living encyclopedia — the one who somehow remembered every birthday, every anniversary, every little detail that made others feel seen. Each morning, you’d be the first to call, the first to wish, your voice carrying warmth and joy. Now, without you, everything feels adrift. Days slip by unnoticed; we forget to call, to stay connected; you were the thread that bound us all together. I don’t know what hurts more — learning to live without you, or remembering how much you suffered before you left. Watching someone so full of life, so independent, slowly lose that strength was unbearable. Those last six months were the hardest — seeing you, who once filled every room with laughter, struggle to find words, trapped in silence and pain. Yet, even in that silence, you never let go of hope… and neither did we. We truly believed you would recover. You fought every day with quiet courage, holding on to life with a strength that humbled us all. When you slipped away, I couldn’t bring myself to blame anyone — not you, not the doctors. Only the Almighty, who failed us by taking away someone so good, so gentle, so selfless. I often think about how you were always there for everyone — family, friends, even strangers — ready to help without hesitation, never expecting anything in return. You lived with a generosity of spirit that few could match. You were my rock, my heart, my soul– capable of reading my thoughts before I could speak, understanding my worries before I could voice them. You sensed my pain and somehow always made it lighter. Now, those very memories bring both comfort and ache. I lie awake night after night, haunted by your absence, drowning in tears that words can’t describe. Even on your last birthday, you weren’t at home, but you were surrounded by love: Amma, Priya, and all your dear friends. I hold on to that thought, that you left this world wrapped in the warmth of those who loved you most. Life will never be the same for us. Yet today, I still whisper to the heavens — Happy Birthday, my child. Be as radiant, as kind, as full of laughter as you always were — wherever you are — until we meet again. Love always, Maa

The coolest bhaiya I could have ever asked for. Always wearing a bright smile. Pampering me. I remember how you got excited when you tried ice cream soda on your trip to Kolkata !!! My memories of summer holidays at Hauz Khas would be incomplete without you. You were always the mature one!!! Juggling between the elders and us. Your loss left an irreplaceable blank space in my life.

Miss you Bhai........

Dear Pranay (Pum Pum) Bhaiya, It still doesn’t feel real that you’re not here anymore. Every corner of my world echoes with your memory—your voice, your laughter, your scoldings, your surprises. You weren’t just my brother—you were my second parent, my best friend, and the strongest part of my childhood. I remember how strict you would get when I made mistakes—but it was never to hurt me, always to help me grow. You shaped my values with your love and discipline. You taught me to stand tall, to be kind, to be humble. And then, the way you’d switch back to being my fun-loving Bhaiya! Taking me out for rides, spontaneous dinner plans, long walks in parks, little gifts wrapped in big excitement—you made every simple moment feel like a celebration. You taught me to find joy in the smallest of things. Even when life got busy, you never forgot to make me feel special. You never missed wishing me on my birthday—not even once. I still remember how you’d call me early at 6 a.m. before school just to say Happy Birthday with so much excitement. And every Women’s Day, your call and wishes made me feel seen and appreciated in a way no one else did. You were there for all my firsts—my first birthday, my first Rakshabandhan, every celebration that mattered. You didn’t just show up, Bhaiya—you made those moments brighter, warmer, unforgettable. I miss all of that. I miss you—deeply. I still look up, hoping you’re watching, hoping you know how much I love you. I carry your words, your lessons, your laughter in my heart—every single day. Thank you for being my guiding light then, now, and always. And Bhaiya, there are so many memories with you that I could never fully pen down. No words can ever do justice to the bond we shared, or the love I will always carry for you. With all the love in my heart, Your Little Sister, Shaurya

It's still hard to believe that you're not with us anymore. We worked together for more than 5 years at Akscellence, and in all those years, one thing that always stayed in my heart was how soft-spoken and humble you were. I admire that about you a lot. I always noticed how much you loved your mother; every now and then, in our talks, somehow she would come into the conversation. That deep bond was something I really respected and learned from. In your last days, I was lucky to meet you a couple of times. Though you couldn't speak much because of your illness, your smile and your eyes always said everything. They had the same warmth, the same happiness, just like always. That image will always stay with me. I also got to meet your beautiful family. It’s clear how much love surrounded you, and I know how deeply they will feel this loss. My heart goes out to them in this painful time. You were a kind soul, and you’ll always be remembered for your gentleness and the love you carried in your heart. Miss you, Pranay Sir… 🙏💐
