We had great times at Perdido One time we took all the kids fishing down at the lake. The lake property had recently been purchased and the new owner came mad driving up the dirt road to the lake jumped out of his truck and began to tear into us for treaspasing Uncle Phil gave him the old grip and grin and had the guy laughing and telling us the best spots to fish The kids were running around crazy

What a fun uncle! My most vivid recent memory is of Phil and Marcy at my wedding in May 2005 dancing at the reception in the conga line, having such a wonderful time. Also when he came to Jakob's baptism in May 2007 and we were hanging out in the hotel room at the Chelsea Savoy. Phil put on Jakob's little hat and was acting silly as usual. I also remember our family trip to Disney in 2012 and how helpful Uncle Phil was in providing advice about where to stay and other cost saving tips. At our family gathering at the Hotel Roanoke and time of celebration of Marcy's life at the Jefferson Center in 2016 he was still dancing - Uncle Phil cuttin' the rug! I also remember when Romanita and I visited Florida in 2006 (pre-Jakob) and got to visit Phil and Marcy in the Villages. Consummate hosts as always!
