In Loving Memory of Philip David Adair

It is with profound sorrow and enduring love that we announce the passing of Philip David Adair, who departed this life on April 21, 2025. He was a beloved son, brother, and a friend to many. His legacy is marked by his kind heart and enduring devotion to his loved ones.

Philip was born on October 21, 1967 in Jonesboro, Georgia. At the age of 15 years old, a significant chapter in his life began when he went to live with and was later adopted by Bryan James Adair and Frances Lowery Adair. The Adair family welcomed him into their home and hearts as one of their own. Their love and guidance would become a cornerstone of Philip’s life and spiritual journey. Philip answered the call to serve a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Utah-South Mission. One of the most meaningful parts of his mission was serving alongside his brother, Walter J Adair IV, with whom he shared not only family bonds but spiritual purpose. Philip spent many years employed as a CDL truck driver.

Philip loved football. He would wear blue-and-orange gear cheering on the Florida Gators. He loved deep-sea fishing in Florida. His retirement vision was to settle in Florida and be close to his sisters. He wished to own a boat and fish daily. The ocean was his sanctuary, but his true gift was bringing joy to everyone around him. To his family and friends, Philip also known by the names Phil, Adair, PA, and Philly. Phil, we will always treasure the memories of your radiant smile, hearty laughter and big hugs. You will forever be in our hearts.

He is survived by his two sons, Nathan Mulberry (Ebony) and Nolan Mulberry; parents, Bryan James Adair and Frances Lowery Adair; a brother, Walter J Adair IV (Melissa); three fun-loving sisters, Sandy Phillips (Ryan), Wendy Grosse (Neil), and Licia Adair (Craig Post); and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 14, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2595 New MacLand Road, Powder Springs, GA. 30127
