Peter, my brother, was the most fearless person I have ever met. As a child, his first time skiing, he went straight down a black diamond mountain, with no brakes. He was also the first in the family to upgrade to snowboarding, a skill most will never master. Our first family trip to Italy, he climbed up a mountain while we were eating lunch in cinque terra, and dove straight off into the crystal blue waters, the summer before his 6th grade year. He questioned everything. Why are we here? Why are we the way we are? Is there anything else besides this world we’re living in? I remember a family video my dad took of him with a set of remote control cars on a racetrack. As an infant, his wonder with how these cars worked was evident on his beautiful, dimpled face. I think in his final moments on this earth he was still questioning, but fearless. I take comfort in believing he was not afraid, just simply wondering what else was out there.

From the first day I met Peter at the moving company we worked at together, we became best friends from the start. He was the most charismatic, energetic, and fun person. he was also honest and fearless, never afraid to do anything and speak his mind to anyone. I will always cherish all the memories we have. Like how we would freestyle back and fourth for hours or all the chess games we played and he would always win, no matter what we did we were laughing and having fun.. Peter was more than a best friend, he was a brother to me, the way we would joke around and compete in everything we did. I still can't believe your really gone. But your memories will live on through your friends and family, I miss you and love you man, I am forever grateful that we met. rest in peace brother.

This was Peter driving the Thomas 1st Place Go Cart at the Boys Club father son outing in 2007. The picture says it all, Peter wanted the wheel and wanted to go straight downhill. I will always remember Peter’s infectious smile, his competitive spirit and caring heart with my younger boys looking up to him. Whether on the ski slope, basketball court or chasing down the ultimate frisbee, he had no fear. "Be Not Afraid" was the entrance song at Peters funeral mass and I will always remember him when I hear it.

I had only known Peter a couple of years after moving to Colorado, but from the very beginning I could tell he loved to make others laugh and to crack jokes. It wasn’t possible to be sad around Peter. His zest for life and a good time was contagious. I am so grateful to have met Peter; he has reminded me to not take things too seriously and that there is always room for laughter. RIP our dear friend

I remember when we would record the JPII Lacrosse games in the box on the football field. During the halftime we would throw and he taught me how to use both hands, plus a couple of tricks. I’ll cherish that memory.

I will always remember my cousin Peter as the guy who was always smiling and making people laugh. Peter always knew how to make me laugh whenever I saw him, and would go out of his way to talk to me at all the family events. These pictures show Him and I walking down the street in New Jersey when my family went up to visit. When I saw these pictures all of the memories from that day came back to me, I remembered how Peter made me laugh and smile while walking down the street, and continued to do so the whole day. I will truly miss seeing Peter at our Thomas family gatherings, and I will always cherish the Times we had together at the Wye. Love and miss you Peter!
