Penny Masondo

Greetings, It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Pastor Penelope Masondo, fondly known as Pastor Penny. She was the leader of Facilitators in South Africa, and member of Wailing Women South Africa and SADC. Pastor Penny was a wonderful wailer who taught us the meaning of perseverance (Phil 2:12) and to run our race in spite of challenges faced. She stood and fought a good fight. Penny more focused on strengthening and supporting the Move, financially and in kindness. She was a wailer, grandmother, businesswoman, politician and a good friend to many women in the Move. Pastor Penny has run her race. She fought a good fight and will be forever remembered as a woman of stature. God used her mightily in so many organisations. She was bold like a lion and humble like a dove. She left a gap in leadership of Facilitators in South Africa. Penny died on duty, as the frontline both for the Kingdom of God and the Nation of South Africa. She was truly a servant. Though she suffered while executing her duty in the Gauteng Department of Education, she is now freed to be with Our Father. We are working closely with her family to finalise her funeral arrangements as well as her memorial. Pastor Penny was highly valuable and respected by her peers in Wailing Women Worldwide, and the effect of her passing is already felt in the rest of SADC. Makubenjalo until we meet Soldier.
