上有一兄長，三位姊姊及二位妹妹。
畢業於台南南英高商後進入台南東區農會當會計。
參與八二三戰役
於1960年經人介紹
與毛玉鏞女士結為連理
婚後育有一女二子
淑珠+俊仁+裕仁
夫妻兩人同心勤儉持家
開了一間冰果店
東海園 1965
年代首創東海茶 1970
紅茶加冰淇淋，更發揮基督徒愛心
幫助成大信望愛之友社
籌措慈善經費助孤兒
在東海園生意興隆時
全家移民到語言不熟悉的美國
父親是很堅強及不服輸的人
一生堅定基督信仰
每禮拜天定放下工作上禮拜
每日感恩神所賜的富裕
從 Ga Ga Restaurant
退休後輪流居住台美二地
長子 俊仁於 西元 2011/9/29
英年早逝，對此傷心不已

阿爸喜愛廚藝，樂意助人及有不服輸個性。常會跳脫舒適圈。在東海園生意興隆時，全家移民到語言不熟悉的美國，阿爸是很堅強的人，處處為家人著想，任何事情只要有阿爸在，都會搞定。每日感恩神所賜的富裕。防疫期間，長照機構禁止探視只能視訊通話。 4/11/2022下午視訊報告FPCLA來信祝復活節快樂，阿爸嘴上笑，當晚被告知要送到急診室，馬上由雅智哥及護家帮助看到阿爸呼吸雖困難但表情安詳。隔天下午神的憐憫，阿爸圍繞在上帝派來醫牧及護家的小天使們唱著詩歌安息主懷。天父恩典真大。 女兒 楊淑珠
It is with heavy yet grateful heart we thank Christ our Lord for taking care of us all through the generations, as evidenced by dad’s storied 92 years here on earth. Today in Tainan the beloved city of his birth in Taiwan, GOD brought dad into His loving fold and embrace, into dad’s new residence in our Heavenly Home.
帶著沈重而感恩的心感謝主耶穌從，多桑在世九十二年的歲月故事中感謝耶和華神代代不變的眷顧！今天在台灣台南多桑所愛的出生地上帝將阿爸帶回到祂自己的臂彎與愛的懷抱裡，多桑新的居所阮的天厝！

Earlier during the day I drove around our city of La Habra Heights, in remembrance of dad’s almost 20 years of walking down and up the hills of Heights to take his buses into Los Angeles. A lady bug landed on my windshield and stayed on as I turned right on Hacienda Road. While entering into our driveway awaiting the automatic gate to open, the lady bug flew away beautifully into the sky.
今早我開著車在我們居住的城市回憶父親20年來徒步上下坡去搭往來回洛杉磯的公車，正轉彎時 一隻花龜仔飛到車子擋風玻璃停留直至我開到家門口在等待大門開啟時 這隻花龜仔才足媠的飛向天空... 尾子 eugene 阿裕 楊裕仁

From Rella: I remember when agong first went to the hospital and we were all so scared of what was going to happen. But the main thing I remember is that Ama was always by agong’s side. And that is what I believed to be amazing because even throughout their life they still cared so much for each other. I think that Agong is singing with Jesus now. I also remember his favorite ice cream flavor was Mint and chip which is the same as me. 阿公。芮嵐 我記得當阿公第一次入院時、我們都很害怕將可能發生的事情。但是最重要的事就是阿嬤無時無刻的陪伴。這是最讓我感動的事，他們在一生過程中，於對方的關懷。我想阿公現在應該和耶穌一起歌唱吧！我還記得阿公最喜歡吃的冰淇淋是薄荷巧克力口味，那也是我的最愛。

Agong, It is surreal to be in Tainan without you. The familiar paths of going to church, school, and being at your house made me feel like I'll see you sitting, waiting for me just around the corner. Every time I visited you in the care facility, you'd hold my hand tightly as if saying "你回來了喔!" -- as you do every time I come back home. But Agong, this time, you're finally home now. Jesus has prepared a place for you, just as he did for Uncle Joseph. It brings me great comfort when I read about the place you're in; "God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:3b-4). Agong, I look forward to the day you say "你回來了喔!" when I see you in our eternal home. Until then, I'll stay strong as you've told me, work hard as you've told me, and be a faithful servant to our Lord as you have been. I miss you, Agong.
