Paul St. Andre
February 15th, 1956 - February 26th, 2021
February 15th, 1956 - February 26th, 2021
On Friday, February 26, 2021, Paul Thomas St. Andre, passed away from complications of Covid-19 at just 65 years old. He grew up in Framingham, Massachusetts and graduated from Salve Regina College in 1977. He had just retired from his lengthy career at St. Andre Law Offices.
Paul was the son of John J. St. Andre (senior) and Eleanor St. Andre. He is survived by his wife Nancy Leone of Grafton, MA, his daughters Christine Laughran of Holliston, MA, and Kimberly St. Andre of the Netherlands, his sons-in-law Patrick Laughran and Barry Loth, grand children Jayden, Eviana and Dylano Loth, his brother John J. St. Andre, Jr. and John’s wife, Cathy A. St. Andre, both of Southborough, Paul’s brothers Brian C. St. Andre of Framingham, James M. St. Andre of Framingham, his beloved sister Ellen M. Brown and her husband Michael Brown, both of Shrewsbury. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews of whom he was very proud as well as cousins and friends he adored.
First and foremost Paul loved, adored and cherished the love of his life and his best friend, his wife Nancy Leone.
Paul was an amazing loving father to his daughters, teaching them the importance of family, integrity and “keeping the faith.” Paul will live on through his daughters as they are both known to be as feisty as he was and he taught them to be independent, strong and fearless.
He enjoyed driving in his car, jazz music, the beach, his trips to the casinos, Dunkin Donuts, Dairy Queen, hoodies, sunglasses around his neck and big key ring, what do all those keys even belong to?
Paul will be remembered as an honest, resilient, friendly, happy loving spirit (as long as you didn’t poke the bear) he found great pride and joy in being a Grandfather to his grandchildren in The Netherlands, Jayden, Eviana and Dylano. And to his new grand dogs here in the states, Rico and Mateo.
Coronavirus has brought sorrow to every corner of our world, while cruelly preventing the bereaved from mourning together properly. Visitors were not allowed in the hospital while he was fighting for his life in the ICU for over 2 weeks. He was a fighter, even under sedation the medical staff used words such as fighter, feisty and rowdy to describe him. By the grace of God his daughter Kim made it here from The Netherlands and went straight to the hospital where both his daughters were allowed to be by his side, each holding one of his hands and their other hand on top of each other’s on his heart until he took his last breath at 4:44pm. He felt their love and the love of his entire family near and far right up until his last moment.
John St. Andre, one of Paul’s four siblings, also shared a very special bond with his brother. Even through typical sibling fights and tussles, they were always there for each other and he was by his side as well in the end.
Paul’s earthly work was complete and our family just gained one of the most fierce guardian angels one could ask for.
Due to the pandemic his family is unable to give Paul the proper wake and funeral he deserves. However, there will be a virtual celebration of Paul’s life, the date and time will be announced soon.
