Paul was born in 1931 to the proud parents of Paul and Victoria Muff. He had a brother Bobby that passed at the age of 3 when Paul was only 6 years old. The Muff family was involved in the Swiss Community in the Los Angeles area. They attended large Swiss picnics. His father was born in Switzerland and his mother was first generation Swiss/American. Family gatherings were often held at his grandparents house, the Housners.
He was very mechically inclined. He worked on cars and motorcycles while growing up. He loved to go to the Beach. Played Trumpet, and played basketball, and bowled. After high school, he even played basketball in an adult league. Also bowled on leagues.
Paul met his lovely wife, Jane, at the beach. They married November 22, 1951. They had two children, Susan and Daniel. Canaoga Park is where the the family lived until early 80's. They held an annual 4th of July swim party where friends and family would come enjoy Paul BBQing and serving up some drinks! Working as a machinist, he worked for a few different companies before becoming part owner with his father in Cresent Metal Products in Hollywood.
Paul and Jane Moved to Big Bear, California. They purchased a Yamaha motorcycle franchise. Became part of the Big Bear Community. Jane became an embrodiery instuctor. They both loved Big Bear!
Paul was woodworking during this time and continued on for years. In the picture section here, are a few of his pieces of his work. He also cut wood projects for Jane's tole painting crafts.

And five great grandchildren, Ashlee, Kayla, and Dylan Gray, and Omri and Keenan Carlisle.
"As I write this and start this tribute page, it is his one-year passing anniversary. Due to Covid and family locations a memorial was not held. Paul's life is not be to forgotten. He loved his wife, children, grand and great grandchildern. He cared for Jane during her battle with Alzheimer. Although, it was not easy for him to show love outwardly, Paul loved and was so very proud of his children and the adults they had become." I Love Paul, Tere

Mom and I visited Paul's house in Oak Hills, for Jane's memorial. Paul had purchased a late model Mustang, and I wanted to take a look. What a clean and pristine car, and I liked that dark green color. I turned to Paul and asked, "why a Mustang"? He waited a second or two and said "why not"?

Although I did not get a chance to visit Paul very much, I really enjoyed times when we were able to get together for holidays and just visits. One additional thing I will remember about Paul is that he collected cameras, buying and selling them on eBay. You are indeed missed, Paul.
Carolyn And Jon
Growing up with all my cousins I just now see that Paul and I were 13 yrs. apart, Fond memories when we all were adults and July 4 backyard party that Jon and I missed because Nathan was born on July 1st, 1973. Visiting Jane and Paul and getting to see Uncle Paul and Aunt Vickie when they lived with them.

It's been one year now since you left us. I pray that you have found peace and are now with Mama. I'm grateful for all that you were and and all that you taught me. Hard as it was, I'm glad that we had you here with us at the end. I will miss you and love you always, Susie
