Goodbyes are not forever, Goodbyes are not the end. Goodbye just means I'll miss you, until we meet again. Paul was a kind man, a man who cared for his family and his daughter above anything else. Paul Decker was born June 15th, 1964 and passed away Sunday night, April 19th, 2020. We know that he would not want us to cry from pain, but to remember him as the loving man he was. Paul has 4 siblings who he looked up to throughout life, with whom he always wanted to stay close with. Joe, Tom, Karen and John Decker. He has now been reuinited his parents Patricia and Hank Decker in the arms of our Holy Father. Paul Enjoyed Riding his motorcycle on sunny days, listening to classic and soft rock (he had a special place in his heart for the "The wall" Album by Pink Floyd), he enjoyed fishing and golf, writing beautiful poems and stories in his journals and relinquishing in his faith of God. There was nothing in life Paul enjoyed more than spending time with his daughter, Breanna; walks in central park, riding through the island on his bike, fishing on charter boats, vacation in the poconos with family, and the little moments like sharing a bowl of popcorn during the newly released comedy movie. Paul enjoyed spending time with his brothers, his nieces and nephews and his friends. Like most people, Paul had struggles that he faced on a daily basis. I hope it brings everyone peace knowing he is not fighting a painful battle anymore and he is watching over all of us to keep us safe. After everything has settled down with the Covid-19 pandemic, There will be a memorial service held to celebrate the beautiful life of Paul Decker all are welcome to come and share your final peace. Thank you and God Bless.

Paul was one of the first people I met at JCs and was always so nice to me and everyone! I looked forward to his hugs everyday! He was truly a one of a kind person who will never be forgotten! I do think of him often and hope he is well, so this is very saddening news to hear, but I will continue to stay sober because he believed I could and always was rooting me on!! Love you Paulie! Fly high and rest in paradise! Which I'm sure will include lots of cool cars!

I remember Paul getting the names of 4 little kids I had at my house and calling and saying he was Santa Claus. As he spoke to each one he would say "ok can I talk to Nicole now" " Can I talk to Michael" They were so excited that Santa knew they were there and there names. He made 4 little kids very happy that night

I don't even know what to say... this is all so shocking. Paul will be dearly missed. He was such a loving and caring man... like a second father to me. I'll never forget the day Bre, Paul and I spent in Central Park last summer..❤️❤️
