Paul Bates

The family of Paul Bates of Port Coquitlam BC  are saddened to announce his sudden passing on January 27,2020 in his 64th year.  Paul was born in Trail BC on April 6th 1955 to Frederick Bates and Jean Wilson.  He was the Beloved husband of Doris Tremblay Bates.  Paul will be missed dearly by his daughter Danielle Bates Welder,  his step-daughters Anna consiglio and Elisa Thomson, his sons-in-law Chase welder and Grant Thomson.  Loving grandfather of Carter Welder, Alexandra Taylor, Blake and Talia Thomson.  He will be missed by his brother Grant Bates and his sister in law Beverly Bates. Paul was a chef and the proud owner of Chef's Catering for many years until he retired.  Ever the hard worker retirement was not for Paul and  he became a bus driver for Coast Mountain Bus Company.
