"Whenever a cardinal appears; that's when Patty is near."
Miss Patty Lavonne was born to Virginia Fansher-Smith, and Bert B. Smith in Frankfort, Kansas. She left us peacefully in her sleep on September 20th, 2022 in Park Falls, WI. Patty spent more than 30 years of her life in the Wisconsin Northwoods next to Wintergreen Lake with her loving partner, Vernon Rieble; with whom she has been reunited in the sky. Some remember Patty as: Gram of the Lake.
She was preceded in death by her partner, Vernon Reible, her parents, her siblings, Loren Smith, Ramona Casarona, and her best friend, Stefanie.
She is survived by her children, Kathy Kuehn, Alan Durham, Grand-children, Kayla Wolf, Klayton Brugger, Kimmy and Trinity Durham, beloved Great-Grandchildren, Lily Wolf, Jake Wolf, siblings, Marlyn Walters, Eugene Smith, and David Smith. Patty's love lives on inside the hearts of many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family; and friends. All who knew Patty know that her beautiful heart collected many friends and turned them into family. She even had special names for everyone-- if this blurb came out of her mouth; you know what your name would be. *smile*
[Patty's family would like to extend their gratitude to Park Manor and the Staff who took such wonderful care of her. She certainly kept them on their toes with her sass and loved them with her whole heart; they gave it all right back. Any monetory donations; we ask that you send directly to Park Manor in Park Falls, WI.]
