Uncle, we still can’t believe we are writing a tribute because of your passing. Words cannot describe this difficult moment, but if this is the last time we get to say goodbye then we know we will do so with the knowledge that we consider ourselves blessed to have lived this life as your nephews & nieces.
You touched so many lives by your selfless and countless acts of kindness, always giving and never expecting any favours in return. Your dedication to a cause was what set you apart. For every institution you worked for, you laid the path for others to succeed. The benefits of your hard work is a living testimony for so many young men and women you took under your wings at a personal and professional level. Uncle, you were and will always be an inspiration to ourselves and the entire family. You have left a void in the family that will never be filled. We have always been with our cousin Afam and will continue to be with him and Aunty Rose . While we mourn today, we also take comfort in the fact that your mission on earth have been fulfilled. We thank the Lord for your life and bid you farewell until we meet again.

A Tribute to My Dear Brother, Patrick Umah Mong It came as a rud shock on that Wednesday, August 25th 2021. Ebe Mama, exactly two weeks before your passing unto glory, these were your messages "Grace, I have just seen your missed call. I have been having very high fever and since Sunday this is the first time I am handling my phone. I will call when I feel better. Thanks for calling". And so I waited for your call, then it came as a text message, "Okay. I am in the hospital running tests. Will call when I get home. God richly bless your day". I prayed and on Monday, 23rd, I heard you were hospitalised, then my prayers intensified and on Wednesday, 25th in the morning I got the most horrifying call of my life. Well I take solace in God that you are resting in the Bosom of Him who loves you more. Those we love don't die, they are alive in Christ and they walk beside us daily. It's hard to believe you've gone but am sure we will meet at Jesus feet on the resurrection day. I will miss your regular calls, prayers, encouragement and humour. I pray God to help me close the vacuum created by your passage. Sleep on in the Bosom of God Ebe Mama. You will always be in my heart. Your sister, Grace Mong Ndem

A Tribute To My Dearly Beloved Brother - Gone But Still In Heart! Loosing you my inestimable bro. Pat has left a deep hole in my heart. August 25th 2021 will ever remain memorable to me. It was an early morning call that got me devastated and I have continued to ask, " Why bro Pat". Life indeed is like a flower which blossoms in the morning and in the evening, it's fade away. You were born a great man with a good heart, always putting others first and I am a witness. Your actions were always kind, generous, anxious to help and please others. What can I say? The Lord looked down to His garden and saw this beautiful-hearted, God loving flower (Pat) and plucked him home to be with Him, do I question God? No. It just means your work on earth is done. I will miss all your jokes, counselling, prayers, care, love and those WhatsApp heart warming messages. Brother, it's been difficult for me to imagine I won't get your calls anymore here on earth but it comforts me to know that one glorious morning we will meet again at Jesus feet to part no more. My children and I whom you loved so much promise to cherish our memories of you, you will always live in our hearts. SUN SET AT DAWN it is still hard for me to believe that you have gone to be with the Lord. The memory on how you were treating me keep flashing, especially after Papa's death. You were always coming to my office at Ikeja to check on me with fruits and other goodies as the baby of the family . You lived a fulfilled life by yielding to the call of God, to serve in His vine yard. I miss you, but l can't question God. Goodnight EBE MAMA Goodnight my PRINCE Keep resting Man of God For sure, we shall meet at the Lord's feet on the resurrection morning. GLORY U. NGWOBIA (MRS) (Nee Mong -Last child)
