"We all know that life is short. Not enough years for us to do everything we would like to do. Some people close to us sometimes leave ahead of their time, and some people who should have been a part of our lives enter and disappear before the lesson of knowing them ever permits. I believe heartbreak comes in many shapes and forms and letting someone go, whether in life or death, is always a heartbreaking experience. I've learned two lessons this year, one: that heartbreak is necessary for us; to help us become stronger through things that breaks us down and prepares us so that we don't get weak enough for our spirits to ever break, and the second I've learned this year is: Value is to each person's discretion. Value life cause we only live once, so cherish, appreciate and love each other. I've wasted too much time living an unvalued life, both ways. Keep your family close to you they will always have you're back." -Patrick Bousha Heard Sr.
Patrick Bousha Heard was born to Easter Williams on the 16th of May, 1969. Born in Hanford, California, Patrick was the youngest of six children. He and his family later relocated to San Diego, California where he built his life. Patrick attended Hoover High School, where he would go on to make lifelong friends, and later returned in 2013 to attain his General Education Development.
He was a man of many endearing qualities. He was eloquent with words and a talented artist. Patrick was perceived as being invulnerable to many, but his real vulnerability lied within the love he had for his family. With his mother, children, and grandchildren, he embodied softness and his love never wavered. He trusted his mother and children with his life.
It is unknown to many that Patrick enjoyed fishing, hiking, antiques, and bike riding. He was an enthusiast of aquatic life and was especially a fan of fish. To his family and friends, he was loyal beyond limits. He loved his mother's and sisters cooking more than any other. Patrick never let anyone forget how proud he was of his children and grandchildren who changed how he viewed and experienced the world.
Patrick Heard is survived by his mother; Easter Williams, his children; Chanel Heard, Dorian Robinson-Heard, Patrick Bousha Heard jr., Jacque Colfield, Kiana Hixon, Chantel Heard, Dejon Heard, Deztiney Heard, Kartier Gaines, Devin Heard & Brandy Ford, his siblings; Valerie Bailey, Sharon Jones, Cynthia Jones, Kevin Jones, & Charisse Jones, and his grandchildren; Fabian, Steve, Sophia, Aaliyah & Ava as well as other cherished friends and family.
Rest Peacefully Dad, you are loved beyond this world and into the next.
