When Patrick Fitzgerald was born in 1890 in Millstreet, Cork, Ireland. 
His father, William, was 39 and his mother, Ellen, was 34. 
He married Mary O'Sullivan on February 28, 1922, in his hometown. 
They had seven children in 12 years. 
He died on May 7, 1967, in Banteer, Cork, Ireland, at the age of 77.
