Adrian, I will remember the kind, confident, calm nature you had. The polite and respectful way you went about our conversations and what I thought was such a great strength you went about yourself, even when you wanted to reach out about any struggles or questions. I have no doubt your peers will bring those attributes with them throughout their time in the program and beyond. I know I will remember you and while short lived in our time knowing each other, I know I will carry forward what that experience was to have had the quite fortunate chance of our time knowing each other. Rest in peace, watch over your peers, and know you made an impact in this life, I have no doubt.

Dear Adrian, We only met in person once, but I have always been struck by your kindness, confidence, and intelligence. Your passion and drive for change is contagious, even in a virtual world - even in death. You will continue to push us forward, especially when things get difficult. Having started this strange season of graduate school together, we have been and will always be connected. I was struck today in a moment of silence for you that it was the first time that we were all together in the same space. I would like to imagine that you were there with us too. Your spirit reminds me of a old prayer. I hope it's ok if I share it with you. "Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace Where there is hatred, let me sow love Where there is injury, pardon Where there is doubt, faith Where there is despair, hope Where there is darkness, light And where there is sadness, joy O Divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek To be consoled, as to console To be understood, as to understand To be loved, as to love For it is in giving that we receive, It is in pardoning that we are pardoned, And it is in dying, that we are born to eternal life." Rest in peace, dear groovy green

I had the honor of meeting Adrian during first term when we returned to campus. He was always very polite, kind, and respectful. I wish I had gotten the opportunity to get to know him a little better because I could tell he had lots of good to give to the world. I'll definitely be missing Adrian moving forward in school. I hope he is at peace.

Hey Adrian, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for being such a funny and kind-hearted person. You were one of the people who believed that my fail GA sessions would get better. You stuck with me through the hard times in GA and I thank you for that. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be where I am at right now. I will always have your funny mnemonics to remember everything you taught me. Studying won't be the same without you, but I promise to finish strong for us. You will always be part of the green class and our little GA support group. Rest in peace buddy.

The last we spoke, you had such optimistic and positive energy surrounding you. I wish we got to meet in person. You'll never be forgotten. We all started this journey together, and we're going to finish it together. Your spirit will forever drive us to not only become the best doctors we can, but to become the best version of ourselves in everything that we do. You are the standard. You are the heart and soul of Green Class. We got you.

Hi Adrian, We miss you and hope that you are resting in paradise. We love you and you will always be in our hearts. Please continue watching over us wherever you are and we will make you proud by completing the DPT program for you. By the end of 2022, we will share our achievements with you and hope that you know we did this for you. I never had the chance to meet you in person but I knew you were a gentle, kind, and polite soul. I was literally just there with you in office hours last week and I did not think this would ever happen. Every time you spoke in the meeting, you were very articulate and had a calm and gentle tone to your voice. It was a pleasant environment to be in. So when the news broke out, I cried hard and wished I was just in a nightmare. You were a young person just like the rest of us and you wanted to serve your community by being a physical therapist. A story that one of our professors shared in class resonated with me as I am a martial artist too. You would've been an EXCELLENT therapist and I truly believe that you would have shed that stereotype of jiu-jitsu practitioners being poor physical therapists. I will do my best to realize your vision, that martial artists can be outstanding physical therapists. Rest in peace, dear friend.
