Noah's Child
Noah Benjamin Gomes
November 9th, 1976 - January 11th, 2026
November 9th, 1976 - January 11th, 2026
Noah Benjamin Gomes was born on November 9th, 1976 at El Camino Hospital in Mountview, California. Noah lived life to the fullest and didn’t let anything, including being born with cerebral palsy, get in his way. On January 11th, 2026, at the age of 49, Noah passed away at Memorial Hospital in Yakima, Washington, from complications from pneumonia. He was surrounded by people he loved and he fought a good fight. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Academically driven, he graduated from Riverside High School, received an AA in Internet & media from Spokane Falls Community College and his BA from ITT Tech in Entertainment & Game Design. During his time with the Ramos family, Noah did MMA, mentored, coached football, weightlifted, and wrote a book about his life called Rolling Through Life. Just like everyone else Noah rode rollercoasters, loved scary movies, marvel movies, swimming, drinking Jägermeister, and attending numerous live concerts! Noah modeled and designed for video games and had his own company called SteamRoller Designs and Consultant.
Noah’s motto was “What’s your excuse?” He encouraged everyone to challenge themselves and at one point he was studying to be a personal trainer. Noah positively impacted everyone he met. His family would like to give everyone an opportunity to properly mourn and celebrate him.
- Noah will have a Memorial at Resurrection Catholic Church, in Zillah, Washington, date to be announced.

Noah, I always thought that I would get a chance to meet you in person one day and I have no doubt you've left an indelible mark on all of those who were lucky enough to spend time with you. When I was having troubles and doubts in my life I came upon your story in Spokane and was immediately struck and eternally inspired by your drive, your larger than life spirit and the love you obviously have for humankind. The inspiration you gave me drove me to stop daydreaming and saying "one of these days". I started working on my own art as an immediate response to seeing your story (after all what was my excuse???) and now it is something my son and I get to share together. I want to thank you for that from the bottom of my heart, he is 11 years old now and it is a huge bonding element in our relationship. I think of you sometimes when we are working together in Unreal engine, making characters, or painting miniatures. I've left some pictures for you, it's one of the "worlds" my son and I worked on together in Unreal engine, I hope you like it. My son and I are hoping we can contribute in some way to the Access:Entree project you were championing, even if it is a small contribution, we will be proud to do it in your name. My condolences to your family, and also my thanks to them for giving the world such a loving spirit, people like you are truly rare on this earth. May your family carry all of the blessings of the love you put into this world, for all time. Though I never got to meet you, I will never forget you.
