Nitin Agarwal
2022
2022
Nitin was a big part in the lives of so many of us which he has touched.. he was always there, a close friend, an exceptional leader, a great mentor who would always light up our discussions with his passion , his witticism , empathy and involvement.
For someone who would always be so invested in everyone, who looked out for others always, it is very unfair that his life has been so cruelly cut short.
For all of us there will be a big void which will be impossible to overcome .. we will always remember him and cherish his memories and hopefully imbibe his ways , and try to carry forward his legacy.

He was always ready to help, to jump into action. And make it fun. This one time, we had a customer training program at Hyderabad being held by Ritesh Sharma, who unfortunately fell sick. I was called in for help, and Ritesh was in a bad state. After some first-aid I rushed to Nitin’s office to seek his help. He was in a customer meeting but excused himself and came rushing to help. Nitin drove him to a hospital nearby, where he was kept for observation. And this part should show you how chill Nitin was: “Ritesh is enjoying his rest time. We don’t have much to do. Let’s go and have a good Hyderabadi biriyani nearby

Nitin came across as a very intelligent, loving, simple, humble, helpful and a good family person. For a soft-spoken and a genuinely receptive person, Nitin’s wit and sense of humor always left us floored. I remember the first few times I joined him in VGTD-related meetings. Everybody, including me, had their notepads out to take notes. Except Nitin. “Oh I don’t need to take notes during meetings, my brain is a computer, it stores all this data accurately. And I can tell you what you want to know.” And he was always spot on, mixing in his trademark humor, livening up the meetings. It never ceased to amaze me. I’ve been at Synopsys for long, and his level of transparency, passion, friendliness and support outmatched everyone. He has always been an employee-oriented manager. And this support extended above and beyond his immediate team: the Admin team always used to bug him when there was a new product to be allocated. He was always our go-to person, for support and advice. I remember his lunch party when he became a Director. He was so very happy & excited about his promotion. He was always ready to help, to jump into action. And make it fun. This one time, we had a customer training program at Hyderabad being held by Ritesh Sharma, who unfortunately fell sick.
