Bro Ndu as that is what we fondly called you. When my phone rang that evening and I saw your name pop up, I immediately picked up expecting to hear your usual greeting (enyi ndaa) but instead another voice was in the background requesting me to come to the hospital. I asked what happened, where is the owner of the phone, but the voice calmy said, just come, he is involved in a minor accident. I quickly got dressed and rushed out to the hospital only to meet your lifeless body on a stretcher. I wept. At that point I was speechless. Of course the doctors tried to relay everything that went down but it was too late. I guess your time with us was up and you had to leave. We will definitely miss your company, your friendship, your jokes and comic relief, the fatherly role you played with the passing of our father and your ever committed presence in the family. I can't say more. Go well Rest in the Lord May God have mercy on your soul Goodnight bro Ndu

Bro Ndu e!!! Are you there? Are you listening? Is this a dream or what? What a night mere this is! Dominic our nephew called on 4/29/2023 to let me know he was besides you; that you have suddenly left us untimely, it was most unbelievable had it not been from him. You are sorely being missed by the family. You were the 7th of the 8 boys in the family, with the previous 6 boys before you transitioned. You are loved by friends in Aro and beyond, your transition came as a shock to all. Everyone is fondly remembering your jovial and fun smiles, your brotherly love, your understanding, your friendliness and the fun. Only God knows why he decided to call you home at this time, leaving behind your children and a grandson. For the entire life struggle, when it was time to relax and enjoy the children, it became the time to exit. You loved your wife Grace Nwosu-Offor, you never recovered since her departure because you truly did love her as you countlessly stated to me. When you returned from Europe, you chose to settle with Grace, your wife, because you loved her as much as she loved you. You sent me your family pictures, you were so happy with the family both of you made. We shared memories growing up and all the hoops we had to jump and raising families. It is like I will wake up and call it all a dream. We were born in Calabar, two years apart; God spared us to survive the Biafra War, saw us through the struggles of life to build families, left the two of us to carry on the family, and I have always had the sense of, “live it for my older brother, the decision is his”, now you are departed. As you are there with your beloved wife, Grace Nwosu-Offor; brother Ndu, watch over your children and grandchild and more grandchildren to come. Let no evil minds, evil spirits come their ways wherever they domicile. Pray for them every day till we all shall meet again. May your ever gentle soul rest in peace at the bosom of all might God. In Jesus Name we pray,
