Nancy lived in my building in Palatine by the train station. We hung out often and she made me laugh a lot. She was herself around me and I was myself around her. Her smile and laugh. Anything Biork reminds me of Nancy. We danced until the sun came up. Over the years her name would pop up in my head. the spirit was telling me to check on her. When I saw this post last year I was speechless and cried for a while. My heart and blessings go to the family.

Yesterday, I found out… through Facebook… that a very dear friend of mine passed away, tragically last, February. Last February!! I’ve called her a couple times between then and now, and we communicated a month or so before she passed. I knew she had just purchased what seemed like her dream home with her fiancé. She was always on amazing adventures …. I thought she was doing well. I know a lot of my friends irl, and Facebook friends know and love her too. It doesn’t seem like anyone knows. I’m shocked and can’t understand how I didn’t know. When I saw, I wailed like a baby. I don’t remember the last time I cried so hard. She was such a bright light. A healer. Magical, positive, caring, loving, empathetic, brilliant… all the things. While watching Mary poppins tonight, I realize how much she looks like her. Not just her face, but her spirit. Kind but firm. Soft yet strong. Again, magical. She’s floated… on. She’s free now. We met so many years ago. She was a month or so older than me and from San Francisco. One of my first roommates… there with me during my pregnancies and always so good to my babies and me. One of the only steady people in my life for so long. I don’t know how to reconcile this. I always knew we’d see each other again. That I’d hear her calling my name in the way only she did… Brigy…. Cricket Brigit… crickimabrigit. I can hear it so clearly in my mind. Devaki Nancy Sparkles my heart is absolutely broken. I love and miss you so much and pray that you are at peace and watching over us. Till we meet again, Beautiful Soul. ✨

I'm so sorry to hear about your passing. I met you when you were in nursing school with Ant and what stood out to me was your welcoming personality. I always enjoyed seeing your posts and was in awe of all your adventures. May your soul rest in peace. The world lost a wonderful person.

I had lost contact for a number of years with my half brother Simon, who is Nancy’s father. Then Simon called me one day. He arranged to fly me up to Sacramento from Ontario Airport. When I arrived I met Simon and I spent the night. The next day we went to a restaurant, where I met Nancy. We talked, we ate And then I said Goodbye and left to catch the plane back home. This was 3 years ago. I wished that I could have corresponded with her, I feel such a loss. It’s too bad I loved her. I wish that we can all live together and see each other everyday and be one family in one place taking care of oneanother. How to do that? Well, I resolve to correspond using my phone. What else can I do? I love you Nancy. Please forgive me for being so selfish.

I had to send this passion flower because you Nancy are free.
