Nancy Scott

Nancy Arlene Lester, Scott, 57, of Craigsville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 12, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. She left this life in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 28, 1960 to the late Joseph Charles Lester, Sr. and Gracie June Casto, Lester. Nancy is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years—Samuel Scott—who loved and cared for her without falter; two sons, Benjamin Scott and wife, Roxanne, and Anthony Scott, both of Craigsville; a daughter, Katie Scott, and fiancé, Zachary Dillard, of Wheeling, WV; two granddaughters, Harmony and Melody Scott, of whom she cherished every moment with. She is also survived by six sisters and three brothers: Lovia Tyler (Archie) of Micco, FL; Phyllis Lester (Rey Lopez) of Morrison, CO; David Lester (Joyce) of Craigsville, WV; Phala Tyler (Bill) of Craigsville, WV; Linda Geranis (Doug) of Summersville, WV; Joe Lester (Becky) of Cincinatti, OH; Jonell Vaughan (Billy) of Summersville, WV; Rosemary Gordon (Bobby) of Summersville, WV; Ike Lester (Jodi) of Conifer, CO. Finally, she is survived by too many nieces and nephews to list. She was preceded in death by her parents along with two infant brothers, Averal Dwayne and Lloyd Gale Lester. Friends joined family to celebrate and honor Nancy’s life at Grace Baptist Church in Persinger, WV. Interment was at WV memorial Gardens in Calvin, WV with pastor Shawn Bragg officiating.
