Wife, mother, sister, friend... Nannie. In the first moments of December 14, 2019 our lives changed forever. In those moments we lost Nancy Williams Oberpriller. Born in Alice, Texas in April of 1947 to her loving parents Charles and Phyllis Williams, Nancy grew up in Houston and Dallas second born of five siblings. After graduating from Bellaire High School and attending University of Houston, Nancy met and married the love of her life, Doug Oberpriller in 1967. Doug and Nancy made their life in Houston. They had huge achievements such as raising two kids and building an incredibly supportive group of friends. Additionally, they overcame unimaginable struggles like tragically losing a daughter. Their 53 years together were definitely to be admired. Nancy was always known to be a woman whose creativity knew no bounds. She was blessed with amazing artistic skill paired with incredibly innovative thinking. Her family is left with paintings, woodworking and sewing creations that will always carry a piece of her. Although her career was always second to her family, she spent many years working at notable corporations like Occidental Oil and Gas, United Gas Pipeline and Continental Airlines. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Phyllis Williams, her in-laws, Delbert and LaFaye Oberpriller, her brother, Dick Williams, her daughter Dana Denise Oberpriller and her grandson Austin Blair as well as several dear family friends. She is survived by her husband Doug Oberpriller; her sisters Kay Turner, Mary Ann Williams, and Kelley Powers; her siblings by marriage Donna Stevens, Bill Stevens, Dick Oberpriller, Pat Oberpriller, Margaret Williams, Brad Powers, and Cheryl Williams; her children Trey Oberpriller and Gretchen Blair; her children through marriage Angela Oberpriller and Dan Blair; and her grandchildren Amberlin, Emory, Danielle, Addison, Sydney, Samantha and Griffin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She will be missed by all who loved her. Join us as we celebrate her life. January 20, 2020 1:30 pm La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

Nancy was a dear friend. From attending bible study together in our home, to borrowing an egg or seasoning for a dish, we just walked across the driveway when we had a need. I know she knew the Lord because I heard her pray to receive Christ at our kitchen table. We can take comfort in knowing she is seeing beautiful Dee Dee again and visiting with her parents and in-laws, she loved so much. She will be sorely missed. 💕
