Nancy Lado was a great mom!
She often said this was her life's goal, and she absolutely met that aspiration.
But she was also a loving grandmother, caring daughter & friend, hard worker, great listener & solid advice giver, and always your biggest fan.
Her joys were your joys. And what you cared about also mattered to her.
She was kind, funny, intuitive, and giving.
She always gave.
From knickknack gifts celebrating ALL the holidays on the calendar, to gifts of her time and energy with the neighborhood association and her Eagles Club friends.
She loved us. And knew she was loved too.
She helped so many people, and touched so many lives, and the reward for that good life led, is you reading these words about her.
Chris and I have so many great memories of mom, and I'm guessing you, the people who were in her world, do to.
And that means though Nancy will be missed.... she will not be forgotten.

Nancy was a beacon in the community of tamarac lakes south. My family met her when we moved there in 2005. I’ve had the honor of giving home health care service to her late mom and to a dear friend Jack. I was truly happy to communicate with her a few months after she returned to Florida. I tried reaching out to her for a few days ago but not a response. I decided to google her name and just now realized this sad news. My eyes are welled up now with tears. My family and I will forever remain grateful for her kindness and great affection. I’d like to offer heartfelt ❤️ Condolences to her children and grandchildren.

When a Grandmother is called Nana, you know that she is something special. Her contagious laugh and non-conditional support of her Grandchildren made her approachable to the young as well as the old. We were competing Grandparents. On her visits with her Grandchildren, she lit up the room and always managed to bring better presents and treats. She always ruled those combined visits. The void that she has left will never be filled. But we will share our memories, so that our Irish Lady will forever be with us.

I met Nancy at the Eagles through her good friend Eve. She was caring for Paul at the time. We always had a drink, laughs and smiles together. A kinder soul I haven’t met. Truly caring for all. We shared many conversations about our kids and grandchildren and it is a fact that she loved them all with all she had. A very sad loss for all whose life she touched. Wishes for healing hearts to her family. RIP sweet Nancy. I raise my glass to the woman you are !

I so enjoyed your mom and her willingness to help others. I’ve loved keeping up with her through Facebook. My prayers to each of you and your families through this difficult time.
