"I cannot tarry longer. The sea that calls all things unto her calls to me, and I must embark. For to stay, though the hours burn in the night, is to freeze and crystalize and be bound in a mould. Fain would I take with me all that is here. But how shall I? A voice cannot carry the tongue and the lips that gave it wings. Alone must it seek the ether. And alone and without its nest shall the eagle fly across the sun." ~ Kahlil Gibran
I could write a novel about this green-eyed beauty. One of a kind - a strong, confident, caring, kind and generous Woman. Someone who knew herself well and created the life she wanted. A lover of nature, plants and animals. A wicked sense of humor and teller of truth. A mother who adored her children. There is so much to say, that I will let the hoards of people who loved her tell you more about her amazingness. She was not only my daughter, she was my soul sister, and we have a pact to make our mark upon this Universe for the greater good - over and over again.
While she had many wishes for her children, family and friends; Misty's priority final request was to ensure the happiness and care for her second generation children (her dogs - Tess and Beau), in the home they have always known in Sedona, until their natural passing.

"Forget not that I shall come back to you. A little while, and my longing shall gather dust and foam for another body. A little while, a moment of rest upon the wind, and another woman shall bear me." ~ Kahlil Gibran

My dear sister, I’ve loved you and looked up to you ever since I saw your picture, before I even met you. I probably still haven’t recognized all the ways growing up around you has shaped me to be the woman I am today. You were the coolest person I’ve ever known and what an honor it is to have known you. I will miss you endlessly. Rest easy, Mist. My deepest condolences to Morgan, Frankie , Connor & family.

There is nothing worse than for a parent to lose one of their children. My heart breaks for Morgan...for Janice and for all the family and friends that are left behind. Misty was so special and brought so many happy memories to her family and extended family. Misty was Jim and Janice's first granddaughter (grandchild) and I witnessed first hand the special bond that they shared. While I haven't had any contact with Misty for years. I have heard stories of her travels, her love for her kids and her precious pups. Misty seemed wise beyond her years.... Grounded yet worldly. Misty is and will be missed by all that knew her....all that were blessed to have made memories with her, all that shared in her adventures, and all that were just blessed to have known her. I am sorry for your loss Morgan, Frankie and Connor. May the memories of your daughter/mother bring a smile to your face, a tear to you eye and a warmth of her loving arms around you. RIP sweet Misty...we love and miss you
