"You know I love you. Always have and always will."
Millard F. Ingram, aka "Mill," age 72, passed away of natural causes on November 10, 2021. Millard was born April 30, 1949 in Beaverton, OR to Harriet and Lester Ingram and was one of 7 siblings: Marvine, Caroline, Dennis, Ron, Charles, and Jim.
Millard graduated from Lincoln High School in 1967, then married his High School sweetheart and became the father of 3 children: Sonya, Elizabeth, and Alexander Ingram. Several years later, he remarried and became the biological father of two additional children: Tanya and Tiffany. He was also the caring and devoted stepfather to one admiring stepson, Loren Feirling, whom was greatly appreciative to Millard for supporting him financially for several years while he suffered from congestive heart failure which led to his untimely death in 2015, at 47 years old.
Millard held several jobs during his lifetime which included Fingerprint Technician for the Portland Police Bureau, Weighmaster for the State of Oregon, Bus Driver for the city of Portland, maintenance man for the Imperial Hotel, Fairfield Inn and Holiday Inn, and HVAC technician for Total Quality Services LLC.
He enjoyed singing (with his whole heart, but couldn't carry a tune), listening to music, reading, writing, making wisecracks, and spending time with his friends at the local bar, which old age and poor eyesight made increasingly difficult to do as time wore on. Millard is survived by three of his siblings: Marvine, Dennis and Jim, as well as his 5 children and 3 grandchildren.
Finally, Millard will be remembered by most who knew him as having a humorous, generous, unpretentious, and nonjudgmental personality with a caring heart, and a soft and sentimental side.
