My niece Michelle and I became very close due to a shared illness. We always lived mikes apart and I missed so much of her younger years. I would have traded my less severe illness for hers anyday as I was able to raise my family and she wasn't. My heart bleeds for my sister Janice.

Words can't express, how hard it is to still cope with your passing. I remember Michelle because Brittni Voeltner and I were inseperatable in the 3rd grade. Those 2 were my P.I.C. but Michelle was always happy and smiling. She was a tough girl. I hope that she is at peace and that she's looking down on her family amd watching over them. My condolences to the family of Michelle. I love you Shelly girl fly high in the sky and I will always remember you!!!

First off I would like to start off by thanking Michelle's Mommy and God for allowing me and my family to be part of Michelle's life. It has been both a pleasure and and honor.. from the very second Michelle came into our lives she was not just a was not just my daughter's best friend he was an extended part of our family. Michelle was a fun sweet loving little girl and she grew into a beautiful wonderful woman and an amazing mother. She was probably one of the strongest women I've ever known in my life. And although we may not be here together any longer in the physical sense, we will always be together because she is in my heart and she will stay there always. Heaven got another angel and we will miss her here on Earth. Rest in peace my dear sweet little angel. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Your love your warmth your smiles like I said have been a pleasure and an honor.xoxo. We well miss you here but we well remember you ALWAYS !!!xoxo

I was the first one to hold Michelle when she was born. I held her while they finished with her mom and listened to them saying " Go on little conehead you can cry. As her Auntie Karen, I am and always will be amazed at her strength and grace. The day before she passed, I got to tell her how much I love her. Sweet, gentle and kind she will be sorely missed by many. Fly high and enjoy your pain fee days as the angel you always were. I love you. auntie karen

Michelle always found a way to make you feel important and loved. Her life started in California. Witty and Sarcastic she always could find a way to make anyone laugh. When she was a child she loved the Spice girls dances & songs. Her favorite was Baby Spice. Michelle was girl scout & created life bonds with people like her best friend Brittni Voeltner and Destiny Adams. They were like sisters inseparable. Friends and family were very important to her. She loved her grandma, & cousins Jimmy, Lilly, and Nicole and her Aunty Karen always shared good times. She and Brittni worked their first jobs at Target. In high school she met her first sweetheart Joe Goodman. Learning life’s lessons of love & heart break & how to move on & grow. Loving herself she met her husband, protector, & love of her life, Raymond Harris. Married & entered Parenthood. Having two girls Sarah & Aubrey. Michelle and Raymond decided to go to Oregon & started a life there. Michelle wasn't feeling good the doctors were unsure, they ran many tests, Michelle was scared but brave & strong having hope. She was told she had Lupus & A pulmonary disease her time was limited They gave her 8 years to live. Out living the time doctors gave her never giving up hope. She never talked about it & never wanted to worry her friends or family. One of the strongest things she did was kept fighting for her life with Raymond, her mother & the girls standing beside her. Shortly after they diagnosed Michelle her mother Janice moved out to Oregon to be closer to her. They were so close, One of Michelle’s favorite people. Michelle never forgot about her friends and family in she visited a few times bringing the girls down to meet anyone. The beach was her favorite place to be. She always had hope and a will to live. Michelle was a pure heart a great mother, daughter, niece, cousin, granddaughter, friend, sister, and wife. Her smile, her laugh, &memory will forever live on in our hearts. Brittni Slack-Voeltner &
