Michelle Nelson

Michell went by the name of Mitch. On August 6th 1957 Mitch was born to Annie Nelson. He was the baby of his family. He had 2 older brothers and a sister Anthony, Don, and Linda. He had a strong passion for cooking.. throughout his life he attended various culinary classes. He the manager at Luther's Bbq for years. When he wasn't in a culinary class he was busy being the heart of the city. He always looked out for many people of the community. He would say various catch phrases and he always had a sense of humor. He was very outspoken. He had a very bold personality. He gained a lot of respect in the streets of New Orleans. Mitch, passed away on October 31st 2020, at the age of 63. Mr. Nelson is survived by his ex-wife and devoted friend Carrol Davis, and children: Lashanda Williams, Teirra Davis- Brannon and, Shetora Davis . Also survived by a host of grand kids and other relatives and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, November 14th for 2:00 p.m. at Dropping the Net Ministries. Balloon release will take place at club seal's class act at 4:00 p.m. 2169 Aubry St, New Orleans, LA 70119
