Always smiling with a word of encouragement. That's what I remember most about Michele. Making friends so easily wherever you go. You brought joy, wisdom, and warmth to those who knew you. In spite of and despite of you were always cheerful. 2 Corinthians 6:10 is who you were. That remains your example to us who remain. From our days in the Police youth club and working in Union Island I can tell you she love to laugh, when it came time to go home and she was dresses I'll watch her and say "well you look hot" she will reply and say "Fluffy me know how to dress ana, me na caba caba", we will both burst out laughing. To our trips over at Petit St Vincent to explore the island to many roads we walked introducing me to the people on Union Island where she was loved and appreciated. She looked out especially for the children in the youth club and gave her all. Although stubborn and harden at times when negativity rose she was steadfast in her faith in her many sayings of leaving whosoever to God. You have fought long and hard, now take your rest. Your many daily devotional words and encouragement, bible verses and songs were appreciated. You were a friend, coworker, loved and appreciated. Rest well Michelle!!

My first encounter with Michele was in October 2001 when I returned from a vacation in Trinidad and Tobago. While I was on vacation, she'd gained employed at my workplace. Michele walked up to me and introduced herself then ask "and you are?" I introduced myself. I remember our first conversation was about the events of September 11 in New York. She was concerned for those who died and their grieving families. Over the years, I became a friend of the family. I am expressing deepest condolences to Zamari, Mama, Ava and her husband,Nee-J and everyone else who are mourning Michele's death. Rest in peace Michele. 🌺
