Michael Forston
October 14th, 1980 - October 27th, 2021
October 14th, 1980 - October 27th, 2021
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the Sun; Of happy memories that I leave when my life is done.
Michael Robert Forston, beloved father and son, left this world on October 27, 2021. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Noreen and Dennis Forston on October 14, 1980, who reside in Sussex, WI. His greatest joys were his daughter, family, friends, art, music and his dog, Helix.

I miss you more and more as the days go by Mike. You said you were coming home on Tuesday morning. You didn’t. Instead you died. Love from my heart. Mom

To my oldest friend - I will cherish the fact that we got to reconnect for a while when you came to Colorado. I only wish I could have seen you more. Your love of music and art will always stand out as a defining trait of your life, and we got to share in that again for a brief time. I know now that those moments were precious, as were all the years of friendship when we were young. We shared some difficult times, but the years of fun and friendship will always be what matters most. I consider myself lucky that I was able to enjoy so much with you when we were growing up. I'm lucky that I have memories of exploring and traveling the country together, living life to the fullest. No one can say you lived a dull life... even if it was cut too short. You were a truly unique person and your personality will live with me as long as I live. Thank you for the memories and for being my friend.

We met Mike when we moved in across the street, both he and my son were going into 3rd grade. They became fast friends and it was always nice to see him hanging out with our kids. I will remember Mike as the kind, gentle Soul he was.
