Our mother died two years ago today. She battled her disease like a tough little soldier. She was so brave and so courageous. She had resigned herself to the will of God with out complaint or blame. She ran the race and she finished the full distance and thru it all she kept her faith. She is Gods tough little soldier. Momma, we miss you. We miss your voice and your beautiful face. Memories and tears now stand in your place. In your place in your kitchen-you were the master, where you gave so much love and you filled it with laughter. Where you gathered your family and kept us together with your gift from God. Your wonderful, nurturing gift of being our Mother. From your family who love and miss you and who carry the pain of your passing in our hearts everyday, forever, until our reunion in Heaven.

Memories of time spend in Penasco with Aunt Merly and Uncle David are the sweetest memories of all.Being close as a family and knowing you belonged was the greatest gift given. My Aunt Merly always had the sweetest smile and the sweetest way about her. Time has pasted to quickly, and to long a time to not have visited. Aunt Merly, I know you are in heaven, for you where a sweet Angel here on earth. I love you, and send my deepest of heartfelt love to my cousins and my Uncle David as they prepare to say goodbye for now.

I kneeled beside you-my place for two years. Bent beside your bed, I got to smell you, to feel the warmth of your body. I got to touch you, hold your hand. I was only inches from kissing you. I'm so glad those days are gone but I will forever treasure MY PLACE- kneeling beside your bed
