Marva Penney

Marva was the daughter of Susan Adell Paxton and Clinton Carl Penney. Marva was born on June 4, 1923 in Kanosh, Utah. She was a long time resident of Kanosh. Marva grew up in a different time in the world. Life was a lot simpler, even though times were tough. She saw the Unites States go through a depression in her childhood. Upon graduating from Millard High School, she moved to Salt Lake City and worked as a solder technician during World War II, making circuit boards for the military. Here is where she met the love of her life, Linwood D. Faunce. They married on May 31, 1944 in Goldsboro, North Carolina and together they had 5 children. Marva was known for her beautiful skills in crocheting, sewing, and knitting. Many people were on the receiving end of these beautiful works of art. Marva was lucky enough to have traveled so many wonderful parts of the world.
