Martin Keith Stanich passed away peacefully at Fairview Ridges Hospital on the morning of September 29, 2024 just shy of his 78th birthday.   Martin was born in Atlanta, Georgia on 11/8/46 and spent the majority of his life in and around Farmington, MN.

Martin is survived by his chosen family, Brian Bali, Shila Bali and their children Cody and Haile. Martin lived his entire life for both Cody and Haile - as they were the complete joy in his life.  He loved children in general, along with Shila’s niece and nephew Colton and Kacie Corbesia.

For a short period Martin spent time in the US Navy as a Civil Servant and was Honorably discharged. In 2000 Martin retired from the United States Postal Service based out of St Paul after 46 years of employment.

Martin was devoted to his church and congregation.  You would often find him greeting any and everyone that came through the doors. He enjoyed spending time with the missionaries that would often come visit.  Everyone seemed to know “Martin”.

Martin was the most loving, caring, human you would ever come across. He would have given his last penny to a complete stranger. Martin loved being “grandpa” to all the kids and enjoyed attending any local sporting events. It was very rare to show up at his house and not have someone there.

Martin was very much a part of everyday life with the extended family and loved by all.

Church Services will be held Monday October 7 with  Visitation Starting at 10am and funeral services at  11:00am at The Church of Latter-Day Saints  651 Southcross Dr E, Burnsville MN 55306
