Marie Martha Ruscoe
June 16th, 1938 - April 26th, 2022
June 16th, 1938 - April 26th, 2022
You will always be in our hearts, because in our hearts, you are still with us... and will always be.
Martha passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband Brian at her side on April 26, 2022.
She was a devoted mother to Margaret Ann Ruscoe and Robert Geoffrey Ruscoe, and wife of Edward Brian Ruscoe.
Martha’s life was dedicated to her greatest passions: Family, friends, entertaining, cooking and sports (Hockey, Baseball, CFL).
She had the greatest gift of always being able to make everyone feel important.
She would listen intently to their stories with eyes wide open, and share in their happiness or console them in their sadness.
She had a special quality of remembering everything that is important to you.
Family and friends were always treated with little treats or trinkets that they had spoken of or had looked at previously. What made you happy, made her the happiest.
Holidays and special occasions were grand celebrations with beautiful decor and wonderful gatherings, and food prepared by herself, the master chef.
With her passing, we will continue to celebrate her life in the same way she celebrated ours!

I was proud to be your son in law and father to your granddaughter Harmony, but most of all I am humbled by your friendship and your forgiveness. RIP my dear “Mart”.

Bryan, Geoff and Ann, Have often reflected back on the time when i was invited to share your beautiful home with my children. It always brings a smile thinking of the kindness and warm greeting we received from Martha each day. Martha was always asking if everything was okay? Is there anything you need? The comfort we all felt during this visit was absolutely fantastic. When it came time to continue with our journey back home, my children were crying. It saddens me that i was not able to share more time with you since that special visit. God Bless you and Love. My condolence to Bryan, Geoff and Ann.
