Until We Meet Again, in Glory
Marlene Agnes Goodavage was born to Harry Wiedmann and Bessie (Fulmer) Wiedmann on November 15th, 1935. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she relocated to Cocoa Florida in the 1970's with her parents and family. She was a woman devoted to her faith in Christ and was gifted with compassion, empathy and a heart for caring for others. Her openess and genuine love for her family was evident as she cared for them, nurtured them and nursed them through their illnesses as well as the hardships of life. She had the ability to keep her smile, humor and positive spirit throughout any obstical or heartache life tried to throw her way.
She had a great love for animals and owned many dogs over the years. Sweetly giving them names like Taffy, Cookie, Cupcake, Candy and Angel. She had a youthful spirit and enjoyed spending family time at all of the Disney World parks and campground. And no one could forget her love for the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis.
She is survived by her siblings with whom she was very close with. Harry, her older brother, Robert (Bob) her younger brother and Carol, her younger sister. She also leaves behind ten nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews, all, whom she loved as her own.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all. But we know in our hearts that her journey has just begun in the eternal presence of her loving, Heavenly Father and is reunited with all those who went before her.
We will have a Celebration of Marlene's life on Saturday, November 20th at 11am. It will be held at Grace Life Church in Rockledge, Florida. Please click on the "Events" tab for more information. Please also feel free to leave a message for the family or share a memory or photo you have of Marlene.
