We are sad to announce the passing of Mark Aaron Winkel of Brookville, Ohio. He died at the age of 35 on August 22nd, 2023. He was born on June 23rd, 1988, in Beloit, KS. Mark was the son of Karl Winkel, Jr. and Sonya (Norton) Jeffery. He grew up in Jewell and graduated from Jewell High School in 2006. Later in his life he moved to Brookville, OH. Mark enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather Sonya and David Jeffery, Brookville, OH; sister Kristy (Josh) Goffinet, Englewood, OH; brother Matthew (Caly) Winkel, Salina, KS; nephews Joshua, Michael, and Brandon Goffinet and Cade Thomas.
Mark is proceeded in death by this father, Karl Winkel, Jr.
Cremation was chosen, interment will be at a later time.

Sonya, Kristy and Matthew, So very sorry to hear of Mark’s passing. When times like this happen we reflect back to all the memories we had while the Winkel’s and Eilert’s children were young.
