July 28th, 1966 - October 24th, 2023
Mark W. Rogers, 57, of North Little Rock, AR, passed away due to complications from ITP on October 24, 2023. Mark was a long-time restaurateur and the proud owner of beloved North Little Rock institution, Georgia's Gyros. His life, although not devoid of challenges, was a testament to his spirit, tenacity and resilience.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Brittany Rogers, his mother Lynn Rogers (Jerry Jones), and father, Larry Rogers.
A memorial for Mark will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church (4106 JFK Blvd., NLR, AR) Friday, November 17 at 11:00 am, with reception to follow in the parish hall. To honor his memory (and to celebrate his life in true Mark fashion) we're having a New Orleans style reception, so please feel free to wear something bright!
He knew so many people and touched so many lives — we'd love to hear any stories and see any photos of Mark you'd like to share!

When we moved in this neighborhood on Chippewa Dr 10 yrs. ago, we just started talking and talked every chance we got. Me and my daughter Jessica would go over to his house which is across from us. Loved seeing Harley, Hanna and Henry. They loved us coming over because we would play with them. He was like a brother to me, a son to my mom and dad and a uncle to AJ and Jessica. When he got down to where he needed help, I was there. I helped him with a lot of stuff. Especially when he called for me to help him up one morning to get out of the floor, since I took CNA class, I used all I learned to try to get him up but I had to call 911 for EMT's to help hehe. Jessica loved baking with him. He taught her a lot. He always loved it when me or my mom would cook him food for the Holidays. It's going to be hard this year. We all miss him so much. He will always be in our hearts. We love you Mark...RIP Sweetie God Bless Lynn, his step-dad Jerry, Brittany, Harley, Henry also his Dad ( we always called him Mr. Rogers)

Words can't express what losing my best friend is like. I will think about him everyday for the rest of my life. We had so many great times together.

I don’t have any pictures due to only knowing him because i worked where he lived. He became an important person in my life in a very short amount of time and i am very grateful to have known him. We had many great conversations and discussions about which law and order episode was better or which of our favorite showed we like the most. He definitely made the most out of his life and i admire that. He had a great heart and absolutely adored Brittany and his dogs. I pray that he’s okay now and i pray for his family.
