Marjorie Grapes Shingleton

Marjorie Grapes Shingleton, 90 years old, went home to be with the Lord on March 28, 2018 in Parkersburg, WV. Marjorie was born November 14, 1927 in Cheshire, Ohio, daughter of the late Evelyn Viola and Roy Edwin Grapes. Marjorie loved southern gospel music, was involved for many years in the Church Bus Ministries for several churches and was one of the Charter Members in 1981 of Fellowship Baptist Church in Vienna, WV. Marjorie is survived by 3 daughters Sharon Stover (Mark) of Beckley, WV, Rebecca Shelton (David) of Mason, OH, and Ellen Riley (Mike) of Parkersburg, WV; one son Steven Shingleton (Cindy) of Parkersburg, WV; one stepdaughter Kathy Strock (Bob) of Warren, OH; one cousin Kenny Joe Grapes (Imogene) of Lawrenceburg, IN; six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her by her husband of 65 years, Willard Shingleton, and two brothers David and Donald Grapes of Parkersburg, WV. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made honoring Marjorie to Fellowship Baptist Church in Vienna, WV. No services will be held.
