A Remembrance Marion E. Larson - Wife, Loving Mother, Grandmother, Best Friend July 8, 1928 - Forever… Life's scoreboard only counts how many hearts you touch between your birth and passing Marion loved baking, cooking, gardening, dancing, watching game shows and soap operas, kindness, music, Sunday morning church, integrity, family values, teaching her grandchildren how to cook and clean up, American traditions, talking on the phone, those who served our Country, church hymns, the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins. Marion loved her Friends (and she had lots of them), cooking breakfast, she loved watching her grandchildren grow up, a Christmas tree with blue lights, yardwork, Honor, Loyalty, Duty, and Family. Marion loved friends dropping by for a cup of coffee, cholate cake, her career as a nurse's aid at the nursing home, banana bread, molasses cookies, LOTS of coffee, a good roast with potatoes, making quilts, Luteafisk and torsk with butter, making the best doughnuts ever, balancing her checkbook to the penny, baking lefsa and krumkake, being early, baking bread, gummy worms, having her hair done, friends and residents at the nursing home, sewing, making quilts, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, true friendship & helping people. Most of all, in this life, Marion loved her husband who left her early in her life, Lester to whom her love is eternal. Marion died as she lived, strong, fighting, joking, laughing and thinking of others, knowing her sins are forgiven and there is life everlasting. Marion lived a long beautiful life. Her love for us can only be forever memories, she left on her terms. Marion is now home, where every tear is wiped from the face of the believer. We will miss Grandma... her smile, her humor, her presence, and everything about her…but only for now, until we meet her again in Heaven's kitchen to do some cooking and baking.
