I had the honor of seeing Ms. Joy every afternoon as she came into my classroom for the last 2 years. She was always so good to me and would always offer my two daughters snacks after school! She often talked about her son and granddaughter and how special they were to her! She always knew how to make everyone laugh! She definitely lived up to her name! She will be dearly missed!

My deepest sympathies to the Salazar family. My prayers are with you during this time. I worked with Joy at Fairview and she frequently mentioned Angelo in our conversations. I will always have a fond memory of her funny stories that brought smiles to those around her. I will miss her beautiful smile! May God welcome her into his paradise. Que dios la reciba en el paraíso.

I had the privilege to work with Joy at ETS. She was a Joy, and a Friend to all. She took good care of our class, they were always happy when she popped in during the day with her cheerful smile, and we enjoyed talking together after the school day was over - usually about our families. I know she will be deeply missed by all. My blessings and condolences to her family.
