Mardy Lippke
December 11th, 1962 - August 17th, 2020
December 11th, 1962 - August 17th, 2020
Lie with me and forget the world.
Mardy Lippke
Vibrant | Young | Compassionate
Mardy was an amazing human, wife, mom, sister, aunt, and friend. She was always there when you needed her going above and beyond to help and care for others. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She passed away peacefully in her sleep early Monday morning, August 17, 2020.
She is survived by her loving husband Eric, two sons, Aaron & Alex, daughter-in-law Namyoung, granddaughter Yuna, sister Peg, niece Kelly, dog Skye, and cat Karma, and countless other family and friends.
She was born in Bozeman, Montana but spent most of her life in Washington State with the last seven years spent in Edmonds. She loved walks on the beach and around her neighborhood, spending time with her family and playing with her granddaughter, Yuna.
She enjoyed playing tennis, reading, doing crosswords, gardening, and playing all kinds of card and casual games. She was a vegan and firmly believed in that lifestyle. If she had ever wanted to write her own vegan cookbook, she had the talent to do so. She was also an avid recycler, animal lover, and promoter of equality. She wanted to help make the world a better place to live for all humans, animals, and future generations.
While the suddenness and unexpectedness of her passing has been extremely challenging, the hardest part is the loss of warmth and compassion that she carried with her everywhere she went.

I was so very sad to have heard about her passing. She was always so full of life and love. I told her many times that she was a ray of sunshine. My heart aches for her family. It is so difficult to have a loved one pass so suddenly and at such a young age. God bless you all as you journey through your grief. I see that her birthday is coming up, and of course the holidays. Oh my…..

It has been my honor and privilege to know Mardy. She was one of the people you could count on for a smile, warmth, radiance, and good—in all actions and all conversation. A woman worthy of love and respect and who gave the same. I am heartbroken for her and for her family members (and for all of us) that she didn't get more time. RIP dearest Mardy. “You did good” here.

Eric and family - I'm so sorry for your loss. On behalf of Lacey and I, our prayers are with you and your family. We hope for love, peace, and togetherness during this time. We are so thankful for the opportunity we had to meet Mardy and very much appreciate her graciousness and hospitality in hosting several of us from Disney at your home in Edmonds.

I met Mardy a couple of times through Eric and remember Mardy had a kind, protective & warm presence. Eric used to tell us about his family when we worked together. I am saddened to hear about Mardy's passing - I know Eric and Mardy were together for a long time. I hope Eric and family recover soon from this loss. Sincere condolences, may Mardy rest in peace.

Sending my sincere condolences! Mardy was such a bright light whenever we crosses paths while out walking our dogs in the neighborhood. She always seemed happy and was so very friendly. She will be dearly missed by all she came across I’m sure. May she Rest In Peace.

Eric, We were very honored to be a part of this beautiful and heart-felt tribute to Mardy. The stories that were shared made us laugh, cry and sigh...and just plain sorry that we hadn't had the chance to better get to know your bright and beautiful wife. I hope you keep sharing those stories forever. Much Love, Melissa and Tom and all the East Coast Lippkes
