Manjot was the big brother I never had. He was always down to hang out even if we weren’t doing anything. He would come pick me up from my house and we’d end up spending the whole day together, just driving around and checking up on his Mountain Mike’s. We would always have fun discussing current music and sports, and he would also teach me about business and real estate, either way we never ran out of anything to talk about because we all know Manjot loves talking. Every moment with Thind was valuable, either we were having fun together or it was a learning experience. I’m always gonna miss you brother. I love you.

I met Manny the first time at his first Mountain Mike Pizza Location. My wife and I went to eat when his location first opened up in 2016. He said "your the first Indian i seen in this area". We just Clicked and started talking like we knew each other for a long time, brother from another mother. Later found out that his mothers village in India was same as mine. We talked for hours, my wife asked me to drop her home because it was getting late. He said "bhabhi, you can go if you want and i'll drop off veer ji in my car". He drove BMW at that time. He was very Passionate about cars. we both went to my house as our conversation was taking longer than expected. he left my house around 12:30am. It was the most enjoyable conversation i had with him. he visited me many times at my house and business. we went out to eat many times at the BJ's, Chaat of India, we became very good friends, but did not know it would not last long. his accident happened on Sunday, i did not know it was him involved in the accident. I messaged him Monday evening to ask about his new business, he did not reply back. i thought he would be busy and would get back to me later. Wednesday Morning someone messaged me a funeral link. I still did not know it was him. i asked the person who sent me message who this person is. he said "manny" i was standing and i suddenly was in shock. His laugh, still echo though my ears. I will miss you my brother. I wish i could call you and you would answer the phone and say "kidda?". Your name and your phone number will remain in my phone for ever. I promise! Will never forget you. - Shawn Dhaliwal

I may not have been super close with Manjot, but from our encounters and times we have hung out, he was nothing but a genuine person. You can tell instantly he got along with everyone and came from a warm-hearted family. Gone too soon, but never forgotten. Rest in paradise with waheguru. “The world changes from year to year. Our lives from day to day, but the love and memory of you shall never pass away.”

Manjot was the coolest and funniest dude. Always had a great time hanging out with him. When I started at SJSU, he welcomed me and helped find my fit in that scene. I had just seen him a couple weeks ago and even then he was just being his funny self. Who would have known that would be the last time saw you. Rest In Peace Brother ❤️

Our third wheel for life. My dearest devar, I cannot express in words the impact you left in our lives and the lives of everyone you touched. You left us too soon and it’s not fair, but your light was needed elsewhere and I am sure you are looking down on us snickering when we talk about all the memories you left us with. We will meet again. Your dearest, Bhabhi

I will always cherish all the great times we spent together. Manjot was an amazing individual and his first priority was to always enjoy himself and never once did I see him where he was not joking around and having fun. This picture is a primary example of all the fun we’ve had together. You are and always will be family. Shine bright while you watch us from above and give off your beautiful energy to all the powers of the universe. Rest in paradise my brother. Until we meet again. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
