Ryan Ransom

On December 29, 2025, the world became quieter with the passing of my beloved grandson, Lucas Allen Ransom, at just five years old. Lucas was a beautiful soul—pure, gentle, and full of wonder. He loved the outdoors, where he seemed most at peace. Whether it was feeling the breeze, watching the trees move, or observing animals with quiet curiosity, nature spoke to him in a way words never could. Animals were drawn to him, and he to them, as if they recognized his kindness and calm spirit. Lucas didn’t need many words to leave a lasting impression. His presence alone brought comfort and love. His smile could soften the hardest day, and his eyes reflected a depth far beyond his years. He taught us patience, compassion, and the true meaning of unconditional love. Being Lucas’s grandfather was one of the greatest blessings of my life. Every moment with him—every quiet day, every small joy—will forever live in my heart. He changed me, and I am better for having loved him. Though my heart aches beyond measure, I find peace in knowing that Lucas is no longer separated from his mother. He is now with his mom, Alexis Ransom, in heaven, held in her arms once again. Together, they are surrounded by perfect love, free from pain, watching over us until the day we meet again. Lucas’s life, though far too short, was meaningful beyond measure. He will always be my grandson. He will always be loved. And he will always be missed. Rest peacefully, Lucas. You are forever in our hearts
