Lou Ellen Cullison Binion, 69yr, of Waco, Tx, passed from this world to be with her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 7th, 2024. She passed away at Willow Park Nursing & Rehab due to proliferating lung cancer.

Lou was born in Memphis, TN on January 8th, 1955. She was the youngest of 6 children born to Elmer Lee and Maxine Lauderdale Cullison.

She loved to do many things throughout her life including being outdoors, playing softball & riding motorcycles when she was younger, gardening as she got older, always caring for her pets, spending time with her family & friends, and attending New Road Church of Christ over the last few years.

Lou battled many severe health issues over the years but fought each battle with determination, prayer, and support from her family/friends. We are thankful that this final battle she faced with lung cancer did not linger and she is now fully healed and whole again with her Savior!

Lou was preceded in death by her parents Elmer Lee & Maxine Lauderdale Cullison, her siblings Judy Gould, Don Cullison, & Gary Cullison.

She is survived by her children Michelle (& Brett) Gallaway of Poolville, Tx & James M. Torres (& Jennifer Nolan) of Ft. Worth/Wichita Falls, Tx; Grand-children Austin Gallaway, Baylee Gallaway, Henry Torres, & Jonah Fowler; Siblings Betty Carpenter & David Cullison; multiple nieces/nephews; dear friends she considered as family including Wayne Fowler; Connie & Skipper Voss, Debbie Rogers and many more. She blessed many lives and will be deeply missed.

In honor of Lou’s new life in Heaven and what would have been her 70th birthday, a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday January 4th, 2025 at 2pm at the Northern Gateway Pavilion in Cameron Park at 704 Park Lake Drive, Waco Tx 76708.
