January 15th, 1986 - September 2nd, 2021
Lindsay Anne Gordon, 35, born on January 15, 1986, in Glendale, California, passed away on September 2, 2021. A graduate of La Salle High School (Class of 2004) and Southern Methodist University (2008), she made her career in the fashion world at 10eleven Showroom. She is survived by her 6 year-old son Jackson Ryel Gordon, her 3 year-old daughter Charlotte Mae Gordon, her husband Michael J. Gordon, her mother Laurie Lawall, her father John Van Leeuwen, her brother Steven Van Leeuwen, her sister-in-law Julie Van Leeuwen, her nieces Jorden Van Leeuwen and Sloan Van Leeuwen, her in-laws Michael Gordon and Susan Gordon, and Dallas Gordon, the family dog.
Lindsay was the light in our lives. She was quick with a joke, optimistic, athletic, generous, silly, energetic, intelligent, gorgeous inside and out, a lover of animals and a devoted daughter, friend, wife and mother. We will always remember her kindness, charm, wit, and curious mind. Lindsay found her calling in being a mother to Jack and Charlie. She loved being their mom more than anything in this world. Lindsay was one of the good ones. A sweet, gentle, spiritual soul, she is resting in peace in heaven.
Lindsay loved her friends and family. If you’d like to share a message or a story about Lindsay we’d love to hear them.

Lindsay, I’m so sorry you are gone. The pain that everyone is feeling is indescribable. It represents how much you are loved. We were not very close. But you were with my brother, and he absolutely adores you. And has for a very long time. As how most people feel about you once they meet you. Your smile is contagious. A long time ago, when MySpace was a thing, I remember being friends with you on there and you had a Rihanna song as your profile song: ‘Under My Umbrella’. That song has always made me think of you. And will continue to remind me of you forever. So much love to you. I know you are at rest.

Words can’t express how saddened and heartbroken I am to hear of Lindsay’s passing. Lindsay and I spent 10 years together sitting side by side at work, being work wives, and becoming very dear friends in the process. Our names were both Lindsay Ann(e), we had the same Anniversary (Nov 5th) and our children were born just days from each other. We basically lived parallel lives. There is nobody that made me laugh harder than her, and nobody that had a smile like hers that could light up a room. And that was the perfect word to describe Linds. A light. One that burned out too quick, and one who left such a huge hole in my heart. I will forever cherish the memories we shared together and I will forever miss my dear friend Lindz

Linz, I miss you so much. I'm so thankful for our 17 years of friendship. I only wish we had more time together. We spent vital years of our life together and because of that I am who I am because of you. Because of you I'm more generous and vulnerable. The mother you were to Jack and Charlie will always inspire me. I miss your smile and laughter but I miss your support more. Love forever.

LVL! You’re gone too soon. Since the day we met freshman year, you’ve always been such a positive, loyal, funny and loving friend. I’ll forever cherish all the memories we made together. Jack & Charlie - your mom was the absolute best.

“Always wear a smile, because your smile is a reason for many others to smile!” You had the best smile and brought happiness out in everybody. You are gone far too soon, but your bright light will shine on through your beautiful kids❣️
